CHOICE OF LEADERSHIP IS KEY TO GETTING THE DEVELOPMENT THAT THIS NATION DESERVES.
PERSONALLY, I MUST WORK TO CHANGE THE CLIMATE OF THIS POLITICAL ARENA.
OUR POLITICAL BEHAVIOR IN NIGERIA IS VERY PRIMITIVE.
There is no enlightenment in it at all. This is the basis of the problems, the way we choose the leadership in every level of our public service in this nation. We have adopted a very, very wrong approach in the way and manner of picking leaders and this wrong way of choosing the leadership has entered into our systems and has gradually become our culture.
To have no stated way, no laid down system that cannot be changed. The people, our people that is, all of us have no charted plan to get leadership.
There is therefore no assurance that we are going anywhere. Check the systems in all the leading parties,
- The wrong culture of money in politics.
- The wrong culture of brotherhood in wrong doing.
- The wrong culture of ethnic and religious sentiment.
- There is no laid down resemblance of righteousness or anybody that is trying to institute it and when I say righteousness I mean not only in the religious context and meaning.
These is to mention a few of the wrong cultures that will not do the drive for development any good.
We are looking forward to a future of greatness but it surprises me that not many “people on top” do have an inclination on how to get there nor do they have a passion to effect development in the right way in this nation.
They invest their passion into eating up the values, the fabrics, the very materials that make a nation great by plundering the cultural and natural resources of this nation.
Sincerely speaking, I imaging a form of emptiness in the mental cloud of our leaders. It feels to me like they don’t even have “development” as an original material in their focus which goes to mean that they are not developed themselves.
I therefore begin to imaging that either we like it or not there seem to be no way out of the woods of underdevelopment yet we have a lot of visions but no pattern or knowhow in choosing leadership.
My cry today is that leadership is key to the beginning of our journey to excellence.
We need leaders that know where we want to go as a people and how to navigate the way.
We need leadership that has evolved in themselves. Evolved into the right mental and spiritual standards that will bring about development.
We need a scientific pattern that will bring about a successful evolution in the way we choose our sets of leaders in all areas of governance both public and private sectors.
A whole lot of values have been eroded from our cultural systems.
I know its a long journey but it is achievable if the right standards are put together, slowly but steadily.
The change is possible when the right elements are brought together.
So its like we are looking for the keys with which to start building our basic structure for development and once we achieve in our style of creating the leadership, then we can hope for an enduring change. That is the right leadership structure is equals to assurance of creating a developed and a successful nation.
Beloved a system has to be created based on a scientifically designed pattern of leadership formation.
Integrity gives birth to integrity, righteousness gives birth to the same, the good people must come together in this nation to first succeed in creating a system or pattern to bring about a set of right leadership and then go on to insulation of the right leadership system and then let the public monitor and see the difference with the past way of selecting the leadership of this nation.
This is the task ahead of the good people of this nation, to create a
- First set of the right leadership.
- Institution of the right leadership system.
This must happen if we think this nation will go anywhere near development and success as a nation. We must be done with complaining and agitations in words alone which are natural with a peaceful people but we must go on into practical planing and working towards the changes we need through legal democratic processes and as it is given to us in the way of Christ the Lord.
THINK ABOUT THIS.
